Record growth continues at YUL, with five new destinations this summer

Two new routes out of YUL with launch of ********, Washington Dulles flights

MONTREAL — More flights mean more options for passengers flying out of Montreal and surrounding areas, with both ********** and Air Transat launching two new routes in as many days.

Air Transat celebrated the start of its new direct twice-weekly Montreal-******** flight yesterday during an event held at the official residence of Canada’s ambassador to ******.

Also available from Toronto with a connection in Montreal, the new flight is on A330-200 aircraft with 332 seats.

All Economy Class passengers travelling with Air Transat to or from ******** are allowed one piece of checked ******* of 30 kg and a carry-on of 10 kg. In addition, to meet certain dietary preferences and restrictions, Air Transat offers all passengers the option to pre-order special meals, such as glatt kosher meals, up to 72 hours before departure.

Passengers travelling in Club Class to or from ******** get two pieces of checked ******* of 32 kg each, for a total of 64 kg, in addition to VIP treatment on board. Economy Class passengers who book an Option Plus upgrade will be allowed one additional piece of checked ******* of 30 kg, for a total of 60 kg. Option Plus benefits also include seat selection, priority check-in, boarding and ******* handling, as well as other on-board extras.

Meanwhile ********** has launched its daily Montreal-Washington Dulles (IAD) flights. Today’s departure of flight AC8172 marks the return of daily year-round service between Montreal and IAD, offering more choice for customers travelling between Montreal and the Washington, D.C., Metro area.

The daily nonstop ********** Express service will be operated with 50-seat ********** CRJ-100 aircraft.
