Three in four travellers continue to vacation despite safety concerns

TORONTO — A majority of travellers (73%) have not changed their vacation plans in the past year despite their concerns about local safety, security or health.

The statistic is part of a worldwide survey conducted by Travelzoo. The international study, ‘How Global Voices Shape Travel Choices: The Impact of Consumer Apprehension on Travel Intention’ was conducted in October 2015, before the Paris ********* *******. It also indicated that 95% of respondents consider how ***** events will impact their safety before making travel plans.
