TORONTO — Sunwing’s flight schedule is back on track.

Any Sunwing flights that were ******* as a result of the system outage have been resolved or are in progress, according to the *******.

“Any further scheduling changes are unrelated to the system issue,” says Sunwing. “However, note that check-in times and passenger processing may be slower than usual throughout the coming days until we fully relaunch our passenger handling system.”

The network-wide system issues that originated with Sunwing’s third-party service provider, ******* Choice, starting on April 17 caused a chain reaction of flight delays.

Sunwing is encouraging travellers to continue checking their flight status on Sunwing.ca for the most up-to-date information on departure times.

“We thank our customers for their patience and understanding as we worked around the clock to resume regular flight operations this week.”
