TORONTO — A storm brewing off the coasts of Barbados, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines has a 90% chance of ramping up to a cyclone within the next 48 hours.
The Windward and southern Leeward Islands, Bonaire, Curacao, Aruba and the northern coast of South America could all be impacted.
The Caribbean ******** ********* Management Agency (CDEMA) was part of a meeting yesterday focused on contingency plans. “We are in the peak ********* season and therefore expect that systems are still likely to develop which may threaten several of our participating states,” said Ronald Jackson, Executive Director, CDEMA.
