It’s true. According to The Telegraph, the Westray-Papa Westray commercial route is the shortest flight in the *****, lasting as little as 47 seconds (depending on wind direction). That’s right, seconds.

The distance between the two locations is little more than a mile. Loganair, a Scottish regional *******, has been operating the inter-island service since 1967. The flight is priced at just £21.
