TORONTO — Blair Hirtle has been named the new Account Manager for Western Canada for the ********* Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).

Hirtle has extensive experience in the tourism and travel industry having worked for Tourism Whistler, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts and Pr1me Strategies. His background includes a number of roles in marketing, sales and community relations.

In his new role he will be responsible for managing the travel trade activities for the ********* Convention and Visitors Authority and promoting tourism in Western Canada. He will be based in Vancouver but his territory extends from Manitoba west to B.C.
