DALLAS — Amadeus has named Elena Avila, the current global head of ******* strategy, as its new Executive Vice President, head of Airlines for the Americas.

Avila will drive the business and solution strategy for Amadeus’ ******* segment in Canada, the U.S. and Latin America. She will also oversee the implementation, delivery and customer care teams. In ongoing support of the ******* industry, Avila and her team will focus on delivering solutions for airlines to execute their distribution and IT strategies, while continuing to nurture long-term customer partnerships.

Avila will assume her new position Oct. 1, 2017, based in Amadeus’ Dallas office.
