Air France-KLM has announced that the fallout from the ******** Paris ****** *******, which left 130 people ****, cost the ******* 70 million euros (US$76 million) in revenue in December, reports MarketWatch.
The Nov. 13 ******* in the French capital as well as the Oct. 31 ******* of a Russian jetliner in Egypt have greatly impacted European airlines, with travellers cancelling flights amid enhanced security measures.
In addition to fewer expected bookings in ******** and December, Air France-KLM had to deal with a rise of hoax **** threats, including the discovery of a fake **** onboard a flight from Mauritius to Paris.
The ******* did, however, report that business picked up in the second half of December, saying that “booking trends in December were in line with a progressive recovery.”
