***************** has announced a temporary ban on checked ******* on some flights to Europe due to “unreasonably strong head winds,” reports Reuters.
According to an advisory on its website, the ******* could only accommodate one cabin bag of up to 7 kg for economy passengers, and two bags of up to 14 kg for business and first class passengers.
“The longer flight path consumes more *** fuel and for safety reasons ***************** has had to impose temporary limitations on checked-in ******* allowance,” it said. “Passengers who wish to check in their luggage will be able to do so, however their ******* will only arrive later.”
******* limitations apply to flights to Amsterdam and Paris operated by the *******’s Boeing 777 aircraft.
