********* Vance maintaining strength off Mexico’s Pacific coast

MIAMI – ********* Vance is maintaining its strength in the Pacific off Mexico’s coast.

The *********’s maximum sustained winds Monday morning remain near 105 mph (165 kph). The U.S. National ********* Center says Vance is expected to start weakening later in the day.

The ********* is centred about 490 miles (785 kilometres) west-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico, and is moving north-northwest near 12 mph (19 kph).

The ********* Center says swells generated by Vance are expected to begin affecting parts of Mexico’s southwestern coast and Baja California in a day or two. Those swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
