High demand for charter flights, says Canada Jetlines CEO

TORONTO — Canada Jetlines CEO Eddy Doyle says the ******* is getting lots of requests for charter operations for the winter season.

“We see a strong demand for charter flights in the coming months,” says Doyle. “The addition of our second aircraft in December will give us more capacity to respond to the demand for charter flights and supplement our revenue from our scheduled service to Calgary, Vancouver, Melbourne/Orlando, and *********.”

Canada Jetlines started its first scheduled route between Calgary and Toronto in September. A second A320 is due to join the fleet Dec. 15 and with it, new service between Vancouver and Toronto. Last month the ******* announced its first U.S. flights, to *********, scheduled to launch in January.

Meanwhile the carrier completed 18 charter flights in ******** for a variety of new clients, according to Doyle. He adds that Canada Jetlines continues to build out strong relationships with tourism boards, airports, and economic development stakeholders and charter brokers.
