BOSTON – Boston will be getting nonstop service to ****** next year when El Al airlines begins direct flights three days a week to ********.
Massachusetts officials and the Israeli ******* on Monday announced the new service, which is expected to be formally approved by El Al’s board.
The ********-to-Boston flights expected to begin in June will depart at 12:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and arrive at 5:45 a.m. The Boston-to-******** flights will leave at 9 p.m. the same day and arrive the following day at 3:05 p.m.
Boston had been the fourth largest market with service to ******** that did not have nonstop flights.
Gov. Deval Patrick said the new service will open up new commercial and economic opportunities for Massachusetts and the region.
