GENOA — ***** Cruises has set its sights on Sept. 6, 2020 as its new date of resumption, with the first ship to set sail being the ***** Deliziosa.

The ***** Deliziosa will sail on Sept. 6 with weekly cruises from Trieste to destinations in Greece. It will be followed by the ***** Diadema on Sept. 19, which will operate seven-day cruises in the Western Mediterranean from Genoa.

With the exception of these departures on the Deliziosa (Sept. 6, 13, 20, 27) and the Diadema (Sept. 19), ***** has been forced to extend the pause of its cruise season until Sept. 30, 2020. The cruise company had previously announced that cruise operations would be paused until Aug. 15.

***** is currently informing impacted guests and travel agents. Impacted guests will be guaranteed a reprotection in accordance with the applicable legislation.

In preparation of its resumption, ***** has developed the ***** Safety Protocol for its entire fleet. Protocols were designed with support from a panel of independent scientific experts in public health and coordinated by V.I.H.T.A.L.I. (Value in Health Technology and Academy for Leadership and Innovation), a spin-off of the Università Cattolica of Rome.
