TORONTO — Playa Hotels & Resorts has appointed Amanda Morris to the role of Director of Sales – Canada.
Morris, who has served as Business Development Manager over the past 6+ at Playa, will work to ensure that Canada continues to have a strong presence in the industry in her new role, says Rose Cosentino, Vice President of Sales – Canada & EURASIA.
“Since joining Playa Hotels & Resorts as Business Development Manager, Ontario, Amanda has demonstrated tremendous initiative and leadership, especially during the past two years as we navigated through this ********. Amanda’s responsibilities as Director of Sales – Canada will include managing leisure and social/wedding group sales, as well as working with national trade partners,” says Cosentino.
Morris assumes her new position during a period of continued growth for Playa Hotels & Resorts, which recently celebrated the openings of Wyndham Alltra all-inclusive resorts, Tapestry by Hilton Yucatan Playa del Carmen and Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun.
