**********’s newest A220 has a retro look honouring its TCA roots

MONTREAL — ********** is proudly honouring its history today – all the way back to the time of Trans-Canada Air Lines.

Fin 119, sporting the grey, red and white TCA livery, left Montreal’s Mirabel Airport this morning, the second aircraft to fly the TCA livery since 1997.

The aircraft is **********’s newest Airbus A220.

**********, as Canada’s national carrier, got its start as TCA in 1936. Its first transcontinental flights took off in 1938. TCA was renamed ********** in 1965.

Here’s a video posted on **********’s social media channels showing the A220 getting its new (old) look…
