********** Executive VP & CFO Amos Kazzaz retiring June 30

MONTREAL — **********’s Executive VP and Chief Financial Officer, Amos Kazzaz, will retire on June 30, 2023.

Michael Rousseau, **********’s President and CEO, said that during Kazzaz’s 13-year career at **********, he has held the two most senior financial roles, and made a tremendous contribution to the overall success of the company.

“He has been a strong partner to me and a positive representative of ********** to many external stakeholders,” said Rousseau.

“Helped by Amos’ guidance and decisions, ********** has made material progress in many areas, including fleet management, cost reduction and efficiency, and business and strategic planning and *********. He also played a leadership role in strengthening our balance sheet and cash flow, positioning us to withstand *****’s impact and ensure we had the resilience to spring back quickly by allowing us to invest for our future growth,” Rousseau added.

He also noted that “almost as much as his financial and leadership skills, [Kazzaz’s] sense of humour, energy level and commitment will be missed by everyone at **********, who all join me in wishing Amos a long, happy retirement.”

Kazzaz will be succeeded by John Di Bert, who has an aviation background and is currently Chief Financial Officer of Clarios International Inc.

Di Bert takes over the role July 1.

“John has extensive experience in both aerospace and senior leadership roles. He has served as CFO for both ********** and Pratt & Whitney Canada. He also brings varied and extensive experience, as during his career he has managed total enterprise performance, executed M&A strategies, undertaken debt and equity capital markets transactions, and led strategic planning,” said Rousseau. “We are excited to have attracted someone of his calibre to help lead ********** to realize its full potential following the ********. A native of Montreal, John will join ********** May 1 to allow for an effective transition. On behalf of all employees, I welcome John to ********** and look forward to working closely with him.”
