Collette has been front and centre following a rebrand earlier this month, debuting a brand new logo and a new worldwide brochure to celebrate its 105th year of operations. In this week’s Take Five, we sit down with Collette’s President, Jaclyn Leibl-Cote, who sheds light on Collette’s ongoing recovery at this stage of the ********, as well as new offerings that travel advisors should keep in mind for winter and beyond.
- Collette recently unveiled a brand new logo. Can you tell us why the company decided to rebrand at this time?
The new logo is part of a refresh rather than a rebrand. The refresh is a celebration of Collette’s perseverance through the hard times brought by the ******** ********. The thicker, rounder letters, new palette and globe repositioning create a cleaner, fresher, and more modern look that still feels steady and familiar. It’s a step forward at this pivotal moment in Collette’s history.
- How did the year 2022 play out for Collette in terms of bookings?
Travellers have been eager to get back out into the ***** and explore. We’re seeing numbers that are very similar to what they were pre-******** in 2019. We started to see an increase in bookings shortly after ******** testing requirements were dropped.

- What are some of the key destinations and/or tours that travel agents should keep their eye on for winter 2022-23?
Some key destinations for Collette this winter are Finland, ***** Rica, and South America. Collette’s “Northern Lights of Finland,” “***** of Nature,” and “Patagonia: Edge of the *****” tours are all trending upward as the winter season approaches.
- What’s the status of operations at this stage of the ********? Are all your tours back up and running?
Collette is quickly approaching operating on a full pre-******** schedule. The majority of our tours are back up and running. Japan just reopened its borders recently, and we are headed back there as early as ********.
- What’s new for early 2023?
Collette just recently released its Season 105 Catalogue for the 2023-24 year. The guide features 18 brand-new tours across Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
In North America there are a pair of brand-new tours to Boston. The “Spotlight on Boston” and “Boston and the Cape” tours allow travelers to stop by historic sites throughout Beantown and its surrounding areas.
Collette’s new “Best of Italy” Explorations tour lets travelers immerse themselves into the country’s culture over 12 days. Travelers will get to visit an oar making workshop in Venice and watch the craftsmanship behind the city’s famous gondola boats. The tour also features a classical music ******* at Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons.
