MONTREAL — ********** has announced it is suspending its nonstop service between Montreal and Port-au-Prince, Haiti due to ongoing civil unrest in the country.
Flights on the route will be suspended up to and including Monday, April 29, says the *******.
Customers currently booked on flights between Montreal and Haiti are being asked to contact ********** or their travel agency for information, including on refunds or alternate travel arrangements.
Earlier the Government of Canada issued a travel advisory recommending against travel to Haiti: https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/haiti.
On Feb. 18 ********** flew 209 customers and 16 crew and support employees out of Haiti as tensions in the country escalated.
