Man allowed to board flight after *** confiscated from carry on

ARLINGTON, Va. – Authorities say a man was allowed to board a flight from Washington to Atlanta after an unloaded handgun was confiscated from his carry-on bag.

The Transportation Security Administration says the man was stopped at a security checkpoint at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport on Monday evening after TSA officers spotted the *** and a magazine loaded with 16 rounds.
