TORONTO — Sherrill Denny, a branch manager of a TICO-registered travel agency, has pled guilty and was convicted of two counts of operating as a travel agent without registration.
Denny was sentenced to a fine of $10,000 per count, plus ****** Surcharge Fees, for a total of $25,000, on both counts combined.
According to TICO, her actions resulted in substantial financial ****** to the consumers. Her employer assumed liability and reimbursed the consumers. After the charges were laid, Denny reimbursed her employer in full. She operated in Stratford and elsewhere in Ontario.
