SEATTLE — Windstar Cruises is offering three free shore excursions and 50% savings on sailings in Greece and Turkey this summer.

The promotion is available on four different itineraries, including Greek Isles & ******* Delights; Gems of the Aegean; Black Sea Tapestry; and Venetian Passageways.

Complimentary shore excursions include adventures like Wine Tasting in Varna, Bulgaria, with a four-hour experience beginning in the Old Quarter of Varna. A scenic drive takes guests to the Aladja Monastery, declared a national monument of culture. Guests spend the day tasting Bulgarian wines, guided by a professional sommelier.

In Katakalon, Greece, guests can Tour the Ancient Olympia Site and Museum for a half-day experience, enjoying the impressive ruins of the Temple of Zeus, once one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient *****.

All voyages also feature Windstar’s new Private Events, an onshore experience created exclusively for Windstar guests on all sailings. These complimentary events are crafted to give guests an in-depth local experience on each cruise. For example, the Gems of the Aegean itinerary Private Event is an after-hours tour of the Celsus Library of Ephesus paired with an elegant, five course meal under the stars in the library courtyard while being serenaded by a trio from the Aegean Chamber Orchestra.
