TORONTO — Visit Rwanda is heading to Canada with a series of cross-country seminars for travel agents and tour operators.

Designed to highlight Rwanda’s tourism products, the events will be hosted by a delegation of Rwandan DMCs and operators and will take place on the following dates

• Monday, May 15: Four Seasons Montreal, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

• Tuesday, May 16: Hyatt Regency Toronto, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

• Thursday, May 18: Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Known as “the land of a Thousand Hills,” Rwanda is a must-visit destination known for its stunning scenery, biodiversity and incredible wildlife. It ranks ninth among the *****’s safest countries by the ***** Economic Forum and is committed to responsible tourism, banning plastic bags in 2008 and dedicating 10% of income derived from gorilla, safari and other tourist permits to the betterment of local communities.
