MONTREAL — With travel poised for a strong resurgence, ********** is gearing up for busy months ahead with a vastly restored network for summer 2022, both internationally and in North America.

Air Canada’s ****** policy is applicable to all tickets purchased, and offers passengers the option of a full ****** to the original form of payment, an ********** ************** or the equivalent value in Aeroplan Points with a 65% bonus should the ******* cancel or reschedule a flight by more than three hours.

For international travel, **********’s Travel Ready Hub outlines all the latest government entry requirements. Passengers are responsible for ensuring they meet all government entry requirements, including holding the correct travel documents, visas, any required health certificates, and all other eligibility requirements for any flights they purchase. ********** also notes that government requirements may change with little notice.

Canada’s eased travel measures, effective Feb. 28, 2022, for fully vaccinated travellers, include: the option of antigen tests instead of PCR tests for the pre-arrival testing requirement; a return to randomized on-arrival PCR testing with no isolation while waiting for test results; no isolation requirement for unvaccinated kids under 12 travelling with fully vaccinated adults; and a downgraded travel advisory, to Level 2.

INTERNATIONAL

**********’s expanded summer 2022 international schedule includes 34 routes relaunching across the Atlantic and Pacific.

The ******* says it will offer the country’s most extensive schedule to global destinations this summer, with increased connectivity to **********’s large North American network.

Among the highlights, ********** is restoring popular European destinations, including *********, Budapest, Copenhagen, Madrid, Milan and Venice, which have been suspended since the beginning of the ******** in March 2020.

Plus, starting in March 2022, nonstop service will begin resuming from Toronto to ********, Paris, Tokyo and Amsterdam; from Montreal to Casablanca, Nice, Algiers, Rome, ******** and Tokyo; and from Vancouver to Frankfurt, Dublin and Zurich.

NORTH AMERICA

**********’s relaunch of international routes builds on its major expansion in the North American market, where seven new routes are launching from three Canadian hubs in summer 2022, and 41 previously suspended routes are resuming.

Flights are timed to optimize connectivity to **********’s extensive North American network, including 46 airports in the U.S. ********** also notes that it’s offering the most seats and frequencies of any Canadian carrier with 90% of its pre-******** North American capacity this summer.
